ADHD Support
We do not diagnose ADHD, but speech pathology and occupational therapy can make daily life work better alongside a diagnosis or an assessment pathway.
Where therapy helps
ADHD affects attention, organisation, impulse control and emotional regulation, which flows into school, home routines and relationships. Support is practical and individual.
- Occupational therapy: routines and transitions, planning and task set-up, sensory and movement strategies, self-care independence
- Speech pathology: following and giving instructions, social communication, organising ideas for writing and conversation
- Coaching for parents, carers and educators so strategies are consistent
How we work
We start from the situations that are hardest — mornings, homework, group work — and build small, repeatable changes to the task and the environment, then review what is working.
Getting a diagnosis
A paediatrician, psychiatrist or psychologist diagnoses ADHD. We are happy to work in parallel with that process and to share what we observe with your treating team.
Common Questions
Still not sure? Call the clinic on 0493 719 759 and we'll talk it through.
Do you assess or diagnose ADHD?
No. Diagnosis is made by a paediatrician, psychiatrist or psychologist. We provide speech pathology and occupational therapy support around daily function.
Can we start before a diagnosis is confirmed?
Yes. Support targets the specific difficulties a person is having and does not require a diagnosis to begin.
