For Educators
We visit early learning centres and schools across greater Brisbane and share practical, classroom-ready strategies.
How school visits work
- With the family’s written consent, a therapist observes the child in class and at play
- The session runs in a familiar space, often including a peer or two
- We meet briefly with the teacher or aide to hand over what to try and what to watch for
- We leave written, classroom-ready strategies, and follow up on a regular cycle
Supporting your documentation
Where relevant, and with consent, we can contribute observations and recommendations to a child’s individual support plan, adjustment planning or NCCD evidence, and join a planning meeting.
Referring a family
We take referrals from families directly. If you have a child you are concerned about, the simplest step is to point the family to our referral form or reception on 0493 719 759, or ask us how to start that conversation. We cannot begin working with a child at school without the family’s consent.
